Well it's the end of the week and that means that it's time for a new challenge at Crafty Catz. This week's challenge has been set by me and I would love to see you all recycle/upcycle.
We are sponsored this week by the lovely Stamp fairy, who is offering the lucky winner $10 to spend in their online store:
So it's time for you rescue those bits of ribbon off chocolate boxes or maybe give a christmas decoration a new lease of life. Whatever it is, make sure you tell us what it is you've rescued from the bin.
So my project for the week turned this:
Into this:
This weeks recipe is 1 metal tin, rescued from work; scraps of paper from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Modern Christmas range, ribbon from a box of chocolates; a button from an old cushion my friend at church was throwing out; the fantastic image from stamp fairy coloured with promarkers in the following colours: cinnamon, caramel, ivory, blush, buttercup, duck egg, cornflower, china blue, moss, pear green and finally, some stickles to add that glittery finish. I hope you like the project and I look forward to seeing all yours. For full information pop over to the challenge blog.
I would also like to enter this into the Pink Elephant's Challenge this week of Pretty Packing.
Until next time, thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
