Ruby Wedding Anniversary

Hi

A simple card to share today which I made for my parents' Ruby Wedding Anniversary. They've never been big on the celebrating thing and they were desperate to avoid a party, so they went off on a mini cruise around Scotland, enjoying their fair share of whisky!

I really struggled with coming up with a card design which was 'them' and then I stumbled across a video by Jennifer McGuire on youtube which I'd missed which gave me all sorts of ideas and this is what I came up with:

Up to four layers of cardstock on each heart , topped with glossy accents and finished with two sizes of pearls.

The video I mentioned can be found here

Unfortunately I did the glossy accents and then had to run straight out the door to a meeting so there are some air bubbles but the overall effect wasn't spoilt.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Crafting with Dragonflies - Special Occasions
Sweet Stampin' Challenge - Wedding and Anniversary
A Perfect Time To Craft -  Anything Goes

Until next time, happy crafting!
