Butterfly Birthday

Good evening one and all,

How is everyone? I hope you're all well and, if you're here in the UK, looking forward to the change in weather as it is meant to get dry and hot again this weekend! yay! Anyway, enough with the rambling and bring on the return of the card making! don't all faint at once now will you?

This card is for a friend's birthday at the weekend - I wasn't sure what I wanted to make for her but I wanted something fairly clean, simple and grown-up, so out came the Indigo Blue stamps and I remade a design I've featured before, but added a black square mount and some gorgous organza ribbon to finish it all off.
I layered the butterfly, stamped everything in black and used a blue chalk ink to go over the oval. Add on my ever trusty stickles added some much needed sparkle onto the oval and that is it. Nice and simple.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations - Anything Goes
Simon Says - Bingo! Middle line - Die cut, free, glitter

Until next time, thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
