Crafty Catz DT Card - Add Texture

 Good Morning,

Do we all have that Friday feeling? are we all looking forward to the weekend? does anyone else have a strange craving for a Crunchie? No? just me then! lol! Well friday morning means only one thing, time for a new Crafty Catz challenge.

This week's challenge has been set by the fabulous Kim, who wants to see you all add texture to your cards. We are kindly sponsored by Stamp Fairy who are kindly donating $10 to one lucky winner!

We were kindly given a couple of images to use for our DT cards this week, although you'll notice which one we all fell in love with! 

I kept it clean and simple to show off this cute image! he was so much fun to colour and it also gave me an excuse to use my brand new winter collection from promarker - such a fab set. This weeks colour palette is: Polar Blue, Frosted Leaf, Pink Mittens, Icicle, Sandstone, Cinnamon, Cool Aqua, Pastel Blue, Ivory and Duck Egg.

I mounted him onto blue card, from a multicard pack from the range and then embossed white card with a Sizzix Snowflake folder. I double mounted the snowflakes onto two different blue cards and layered it all up; mounting the image on foam pads.

The card edge is embossed using by hougie board and I layered a length of floristary lace on the base and edged it with blue ribbon. I mounted everything up and finished the card with a snowflake button, some blue gems and lots and lots of stickles to make it sparkle!
