Crafty Catz DT - Colour Challenge

How's your week been? mine has finally slowed down, which is just as well as my voice has totally failed on me. It's making for fun at work - lots of miming! anyway, Friday means a new challenge at Crafty Catz and this weeks theme is set by Kim who wants to see cards influenced by this colour block:

I decided to make some notelet cards this week as I always need thank you notelets:

The image is coloured with the following Promarkers: Red, Gold, Canary, Apricot, Pumpkin, Spice, Burnt Orange, Cool Aqua, Lime Green, Warm Grey 1. I used scraps of pattern paper and a couple of pearls to finish off the set.

Good Morning!
Another Friday and another DT card for Crafty Catz. The theme has been set by the lovely Jac and the theme is Clean and Simple. We have two fab sponsors this week - Fitztown and Make it Crafty

Aren't you the lucky ones? So, on with this weeks card. I used an image from Fitztown for my card and made this card for my soon to be sister-in-law's birthday.

 

As always, the flower is coloured with promarkers in the following colours; Blush, Dusky Rose, Blossom, Moss and Pear Green.

 

The DP's are from the Spring Jubilee Pad, which came free with Cardmaking and Papercraft last year. The plain papers are dovecraft colour basics. I used a lace doily and cut a couple of butterflies from another sheet of paper and finished it all off with some pearl gems.

Crafty Catz DT - Embossing

Did you miss me last week? (probably not - go on, admit it, did you even notice I didn't post?!) anyway, business as usual this week so on with this week's Crafty Catz Challenge. So on to my card this week:

The image is one of Fitztown's gorgeous images. I coloured her with promarkers and mounted her on an inked circle. The green card is from stash and the white card is embossed with cuttlebugs flourish swirls, both inked with memento forest green. The whole thing is finished with a couple of pearls.

Crafty Catz DT - Winter Fantasy

Another Friday and another challenge over at Crafty Catz. This weeks challenge was set by Anna who has set the theme 'Winter Fantasy - use a Fairy'; so that's the key this week, your card must include a fairy!

So on with my card this week



I coloured this fab image with the following promarkers: honeycomb, pastel pink, ivory, blush, polar blue, pastel blue, cool grey 1, icicle gold, pastel yellow, buttercup, pear green, moss, blossom, winter berry.

 

The main pattern paper was a freebie from a magazine, the other DT paper is scrap. I hand cut the white card and embossed it using sizzix's snowflakes folder and highlighted with gems. I finished with a few pearls.
