Crafty Catz DT - Anything Goes with Twist of Stripes and Spots

Morning all

It's Friday again. Feel like its been a long week here. Don't know why but I'm glad we're almost at the weekend.

Our theme this week is, as always, Anything Goes with the ever optional twist  of adding Spots and Stripes. We are sponsored this week by Kenny K designs and we will be sad to say goodbye to them as they are closing the shop at the end of June. That being said, they're honouring our sponsorship and offering our lucky winner 5 images of their choice - so play along for a change to win and stock up on those images on your wish list

The image is coloured with Promarkers in Caramel, Ruby, Duck Egg, Blue and Cool Aqua and accented with Whisper pens. Everything else is from my stash box with the exception of the sentiment which is computer generated.

A CAS card this week which can be used for a number of occasions. Thanks for stopping by. Until next time, happy crafting!

Anything Goes with the twist of Occupations

Good Morning,

Did you all get lots of lovely Valentine treats this week or where you like me, single and utterly fed up of the love fest on facebook?

Whatever the start of the week brought you, let the end be a new challenge at Crafty Catz. Our theme this week is Anything Goes with a twist of Occupations. Our sponsor this week is Kenny K and the winner gets 5 images from the shop.
My image this week is Chef

I coloured the image with promarkers in Blush, Ivory, Gold, Cool Grey 1 and 3 and finished the image with my Whisper brush markers. I used scraps of spotty paper and Bo Bunny's Recipe Card 12x12 to create my card and finished with pearls from stash

Hope you like the card and the challenge. Until next time, happy crafting!

Morning all,

Here's to a new Friday and another challenge over at Crafty Catz. This weeks theme has been set by Tracey and she would like to see cards with Hobbies or Interests as the central theme. We are sponsored this week by Kenny K who are offering our winner 5 images of their choice

My card this week uses the image Colour Me Jeanette

The image is coloured with promarkers in Blush, Ruby, Buttercup, Terracotta, Honeycomb, Dusky Rose, Cool Grey 2, Cool Grey 3, Cool Aqua, China Blue, Apple and Lime Green. The sentiment I found online and the diecuts are from a stash a friend sent me.

I hope you like it and don't forget to come on over and play with us at Crafty Catz this week. Until next time, happy crafting!

Crafty Catz DT - Embossing

Morning all

Another Friday, another challenge over at Crafty Catz. This weeks theme has been set by Cindy and she wants to see you use Embossing on your card. We are sponsored this week by KennyK and our lucky winner will receive 5 images of their choice.

I went for wet embossing and embossed both the polaroid frame with glitter powder (sorry it doesn't show up too well) and a piece of acetate with silver powder to create a film strip. I used odd papers from various packs and finished it with a couple of tickets and tags I had lying around. I used promarkers to colour the image in Apricot, Blush, Ivory, Cinnamon, Henna, Apple Green, Forest Green, Light Grey 1 and Gold.

I was going for a vintage vibe so I hope you like it.
Until next time, happy crafting!
