Crafty Catz DT - Anything Goes

Morning all,

Another week has come and gone and near enough so has another month! eep! but there we go. As it's the last Friday of the month that means only one thing at Crafty Catz - Anything Goes.

We are sponsored this week by Bunny Zoe Crafts

So onwards with my card:
My image this week is a charity digi from Saturated Canary called Breathe. This is the first time I've actually coloured her up and she's a gem to work with. As always I used promarkers to colour her in the following colours: Ivory, Blush, Pastel Pink, Burgundy, Poppy, Apple, Meadow Green, Forest Green, Sandstone, Cinnamon, Caramel, Henna, Gold

The papers and card are inked with: Versa Magic - Perfect Plumeria and Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Pumice Stone, Shabby Shutters, Vintage Photo

The papers and gems are from stash and the sentiment is computer generated.

That's about it. Thanks for popping by and don't forget to join in the fun at Crafty Catz. Until next time though - happy crafting!

Crafty Catz DT - Embossing

Morning all,

Did you miss me last week? (probably not - go on, admit it, did you even notice I didn't post?!) anyway, business as usual this week so on with this week's Crafty Catz Challenge. This weeks theme has been set by the lovely Christine who wants to see Embossing on your cards. We are sponsored this week by Fitztown.
Prize: 3 Digi's of winners choice

So on to my card this week:
The image is one of Fitztown's gorgeous images. I coloured her with promarkers and mounted her on an inked circle. The green card is from stash and the white card is embossed with cuttlebugs flourish swirls, both inked with memento forest green. The whole thing is finished with a couple of pearls.

Hope you like it and we can't wait to see your entries this week so do come and join in the fun.

Crafty Catz DT - Black, White + 1

Good Morning!

Another Friday is here and another challenge at Crafty Catz. Thanks to everyone who joined in with my challenge last week. This weeks theme has been set by Nina who would like you to make cards or projects using the colours Black, White and One other of your choice.

We are sponsored this week by Mia Flowers and Delicious Doodle.

4 images of winners choice

We were given images by Delicious Doodles this week and here's my creation:
I printed the image as it was twice, the first I cut out with my circle die, removing some of the image, so I cut and layered the flowers back onto the base. I then covered the whole thing with embossing ink and glitter powder and double embossed it. The base card is covered with fleur de lys paper I got free with a craft magazine, edged with green chalk ink. I added the black and white ribbon with double sided tape either end and made a double bow. I mounted the iris image on foam pads (black, which I discovered afterwards you could see so I've now replaced them with white) and that finished the card.

Hope you like it. Don't forget to swing by and see the other creations by the girls at Crafty Catz and join in the fun!

Until next time, Happy Crafting

Crafty Catz DT - Anything But Square

Morning all,

Another week is nearly over and the weekend is almost here - if you're in the UK, then you should hopefully be looking forward to a 3 day weekend; but chances are that you're like me and Bank Holiday's mean little to nothing when it comes to days off  - so you have my sympathy if this is the case.

Anyway, enough with the doom and gloom. This week's challenge is set by me and I would like to see you make something which is Anything But Square.

We are sponsored this week by Bugaboo Stamps
Prize: 7 images of Winners Choice

I freehand drew the card base, topped it with striped paper which I had dusted with Sandstone Chalk Ink. The top is cherry swirl paper, inked on the edge. The whole card to this point is the same on the front and the back. I finished the front with this sweet Bugaboo image which I coloured with promarkers in the following colours: Blush, Cool Grey 1, Burgundy, Sandstone, Gold, Pumpkin, Apricot and Red; the sentiment is computer generated and the brad and pearls are from stash.

So there you go. Hope you like it. The girls have made some fab creations this week so please pop by the challenge blog to give them some love.

Until next time, happy crafting!
