Two Quick Cards

Hello again! 2 posts in one night - it's shocking lol! Anyway, whilst I was looking for something else entirely in my craft box the other night I found 2 Forever Friends decoupage i'd made up an age ago but not done anything with, so I ran up these very quick cards.

I would like to enter this card into Crafty Catz challenge this week which is Summer time. What can be more summery then flowers and these colours?

Nothing fancy but hopefully you like them

Simon Say's Sketch

Evening all! I hope you're all keeping well and had a good day - i've been productive!  more in the kitchen then on the card front but the one card I did need to make urgently is now done.

I've used the sketch which is Simon Say's challenge this week:

I really wish I could remember where I got this digi image of the bike from but I can't! so if someone recognises it, could you let me know so I can give out due credit?! thanks!

Other than that it's a very simple card - sentiment paper I printed from the computer;the ribbon is from stash;candy pips as always and the cardstock is all from stash.

Wedding Card

Carlyann over at sweetncrafty is getting married to her best friend Rob on 7th August and to help them celebrate i've made this card...... I just hope they like it!

Wow! get me with all the photos, it's just its taken 3 attempts to get this card right so I want lots of photos to remember it by lol!

The image is LOTV and coloured with Promarkers;the sentiment is hand placed peel offs; the hearts are stitched with silver thread; the gems from stash and individually placed; the flowers are from my ever trusty punches; the inside corners are from a Martha Stewart punch.

Now I just have to hope it gets to them in one piece - I do hate the postal service!

Kickin' It for Michelle

Good Morning!

As many of you in blog land are aware, Michelle (one of the designers for A Spoon Full of Sugar) recently had an accident , which has left her with the loss of her right eye and a long road of recovery ahead. In an effort to cheer her up and raise awareness for what happened to Michelle they are holding a card drive in her honor.

Two of Whimsy Stamps lovely Artists Melissa Jenkins and Ann Vento have teamed up together to bring us a very special donkey image (as seen on my card) and matching sentiments, these are all available to download for free from the Whimsy Stamps store page

The card drive finishes on the 27th July at 8pm UK time. The winners will be announced on the 28th July - So you still have time to take part

Having said that - here's my Card:

I've kept it very simple, making this fabulous image the centre of attention. Backing paper with the edging is from a good friend of mine - Aunty sue, the oval is from my new Debbie Moore cutter. Ribbon from stash, my ever trusty pips and a heart button to embellish the heart on the image.

This will be winging its way to the states asap! hopefully it will be one more in a growing collection from fellow crafters around the world

Christmas In July

Christmas in July was what Fussy and Fancy Friday's challenged us to this week and this is what I came up with:

Image is one I was kindly sent last year, coloured with pro-markers, the oval is embossed with spots (cuttlebug). I created the gatefold card from base card stock, embossed the one side with winter wording (cuttlebug) and punched out some snowflakes (woodware). Ribbon and gems are from stock.

Magnolia Monthly Challenge

It's Just Magnolia's special monthly challenge - and this time its to make a criss cross card. I've never made one of these before and I really enjoyed doing it, although i'm not too sure on the success of this card.

Anyway, this is what I came up with!

 Tilda was coloured using pro markers and the paper's are all from stash - except the map which I printed from the internet.

Creative Inspirations Challenge

This is a challenge card for Creative Inspirations, who this week had a sketch challenge:

So I flipped it and stretched it slightly and came up with this:

The image and sentiment are from a new PB set that Aunty Sue gave me for my birthday! (BIG THANKS!) coloured with pro-markers. Everything else is from stash - paper off-cuts from previous projects and ribbon from stash.

It's My Birthday and look what I made....

Well it's my birthday today and as in true style that means making something calorie filled and yummy for my work colleagues, so this year I've made these:

My main cake: Victoria sandwich with strawberry jam and butter icing

And a dozen of each cupcake - both plain and chocolate.

Hopefully this will see them through til at least.... oh 11:00?! lol! Right off to work!
