Crafty Catz is 5 years old! Wooop! bring on the cake! Now, because it's our birthday we have a really simple theme this week - yes, you've guessed it Birthday Cards.

So, having got through all of that - on with my card:

The flower image is from Sami Stamps. I've coloured them with promarkers and layered the images. The base card is embossed with a frame (not clear on the picture), which I then edged with a burgundy promarker. The yellow background is versa magic ink in straw. The oval is embossed with Cuttlebug flourish. The sentiment is computer generated and both it and the oval are inked with versa magic in Violet. It's all finished with pearls.

Crafty Catz DT - Pretty Women

Good morning everyone - another Friday is here and another week has passed us by. Friday means only one thing - a new challenge at Crafty Catz. This weeks theme was set by the lovely Nick who wants to see cards on the theme of Pretty Women. We are sponsored this week by Kenny K who are offering our lucky winner 5 digi images of their choice.

My card this week uses Jeannie

 

The image is coloured with promarkers in the following colours; Ivory, Blush, Cinnamon, Henna, Ruby, Canary, Gold, Pumpkin, Lime Green, Pear Green, Amethyst and Plum. Papers: Scraps and Basic Grey - Life of the Party. The sentiment is computer generated on basic yellow card. I've dusted the edges with Versa Magic inks in Straw and Sahara Sands. The background of the circle is dusted with Stickles Stardust. Gems and Doily from stash.

Good Morning!
Another Friday and another DT card for Crafty Catz. The theme has been set by the lovely Jac and the theme is Clean and Simple. We have two fab sponsors this week - Fitztown and Make it Crafty

Aren't you the lucky ones? So, on with this weeks card. I used an image from Fitztown for my card and made this card for my soon to be sister-in-law's birthday.

 

As always, the flower is coloured with promarkers in the following colours; Blush, Dusky Rose, Blossom, Moss and Pear Green.

 

The DP's are from the Spring Jubilee Pad, which came free with Cardmaking and Papercraft last year. The plain papers are dovecraft colour basics. I used a lace doily and cut a couple of butterflies from another sheet of paper and finished it all off with some pearl gems.

Crafty Catz DT - One for the Boys

Hello everyone! welcome back - I'm been MIA I know, I had meant to share a couple of other projects with you this week but work's been manic and time to sit and blog has been scarce.

 

I hope you'll all forgive me as I'm back with a new challenge card for Crafty Catz and this weeks theme has been set by Christine who would like to see you make One for the Boys. We are sponsored this week by Bugaboo

So we all know Bugaboo do some fab male images and although we were given some to play with, I had to dive into my stash to pull out Deacon Cake who is just perfect for my little cousin's birthday

As always he's coloured with promarkers in the following colours: Blush, Canary, Gold, Mustard, Buttercup, Caramel, Duck Egg, Midnight Blue and Meadow Green

 

I cut him out using sizzix shapelets and edged it with sky blue versamagic ink. The circles are from punches and the paper is all offcuts in stash. The buttons are all stock.
