Iris Folding Birthday Card

Hi everyone!

So this is a new style for me, i've never done iris folding before but I saw this pattern and I just had to give it a go!

The papers I used were from a free stack that came with a Cardmaking and Papercraft issue I brought and were designed by Kate Knight. Everything else is from stash.

I'm entering this for Bunny Zoe's Challenge - Something Girly

Ooooh another award.....

I've recieved this award from both Aunty Sue and Maureen - thank you ladies!

So what I apparently have to do is tell 6 lies and 1 truth and leave you to work it out.....hehe! well here goes!

1. I drive a really cute little purple car

Happy Birthday Aunty Sue!

Well it's Aunty Sue's Birthday today- many happy returns chick! I hope you've had a fab day!

Anyway, because it is a must, it's time to share the cards and my ickle prezzie to her

This is a house mouse decoupage - love these images! they're just soooo cute!  very simple - double mounted and kept the pallete neautral - add some ribbon, the sentiment and candy pips and we're done!

And this is what I made her for her birthday (no this isn't the cross stitch i've been moaning over - I started this one in January!  lol)

Brother's Birthday Card

I know - shocking! cards?! what has happed I hear you cry? well, we entered June, my dreaded month - far too many lovely friends and family members have birthdays in June! so this is the first of the batch for my brother:

This is one of LOTV new stamps - isn't he a total sweetie? love this image! I coloured him in using promarkers then double mounted him. The shapes are all freehand cut, papers from K&Co Hopscotch pad. Sentiment I printed from my computer and my beloved candy pips from stock.
