I finally have a card for you! it's my brother's birthday next week and he's having a Mad Hatters Tea Party - costumes and all.... he's only ummmm well, old enough to know better and still young enough that he doesn't care! lol! it should be great actually, sadly I will be at work :'( I am very sad about this fact, but I will be helping make his birthday cake with his girlfriend and my mum - it's going to be epic!
But anyway, on to his card - It had to be about the Mad Hatter's tea party themed card really, so after many, many attempts to get this right - there's about 6 versions of this card in the recycling bin! this is what he's getting:
The images are of course by the wonderful Mo Manning and can all be found here. They are coloured with promarkers, hightlighted with whisper pens and the background was my first attempt at using my distress inks - still need some work in that area methinks! the button and key charm were from stash and the sentiment and inner pages were computer generated. Paper is all oddments from stash.
Quote is from Alice in Wonderland - the original book and the signs read; yonder, tea party, this way, wrong way - also taken from the book.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Catz - Card for a man
Allsorts Challenge - Happy Birthday to someone special
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Until next time, thanks for stopping by and don't forget, I've still got Blog Candy until Midnight June 1st!
Take care and happy crafting x
